01 Sarah Key Masterclass Level 1

Sarah Key’s Level 1 Masterclasses are designed to make you more competent, confident and effective treating backs.
Level 1 covers Sarah’s hypothesis of the 5 stages of breakdown of a spinal segment which provides a framework for understanding the developmental nature of many spinal conditions.
The two most common syndromes – stiff spinal segment and facet joint arthropathy – are explained, following a comprehensive first lecture on the lumbar spinal anatomy, biomechanics and disc physiology. Spinal decompression is also discussed.
The 2-Day Practical Adjunct sessions refine palpation and manual skills (hands-on) and initiate the teaching of safe and effective spinal mobilisation using the heel.
